Dear community members,
This year’s Tibetan National Uprising Day in Toronto has been the most successful event of our community. I was told that together we were close to three thousand Tibetans out on the streets of Toronto demanding freedom in Tibet. All of us together have done proud to the cause of Tibet. For many of us it was a matter of taking one day from our busy life. But our one day’s sacrifice made a huge impact in representing the voice of our brothers and sisters in Tibet. We have done our duty conscientiously.This small success in performing our duty towards the cause of Tibet would have been impossible without the enthusiastic support and willing participation from all of you. Therefore, on behalf of the Board members of Canadian Tibetan Association of Ontario, I would like to say “THANK YOU” to our dear community members.

I have immense respect for those Board members and volunteers who have played important role making the 54th National Uprising Day a great Tibetan event in Toronto. See you next year on 10th March with more enthusiasm and patriotism.
