The visit of His Eminence the 7th Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche is jointly organized by the Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre  (TCCC) and the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress in Toronto  (RTYC, Toronto).

Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre

Founded in 2007, the Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre (TCCC) is the largest Tibetan cultural centre in North America with 2.18 acres of area space. As a community based organization, the mission of the Centre is to preserve, foster and share the rich and distinct Tibetan culture in Canada. In today`s increasingly diverse and multicultural Canadian society, our mission will be met in a spirit of co-operation and harmony among people of different cultures. TCCC works on developing and fostering community spirit by promoting anti- oppressive practices through civic engagement, adult education, elder care, social service, athletics, arts, recreation, Tibetan system of medicine, astronomy and astrology, moral education and other community endeavors.

The centre hosts programs such as Tibetan language, performing arts, Introduction to Buddhism and senior’s program for the elderly.

Regional Tibetan Youth Congress , Toronto

The Regional Tibetan Youth Congress , Toronto (RTYC, Toronto) is a branch organization of TYC National which is based in Dharamsala, India.  TYC is a worldwide Organisation of Tibetans united in our common struggle for the restoration of complete independence for the whole of Tibet, which includes the tradition three provinces of U-Tsang, Do-toe, and Do-med. An independent Organisation, with a written constitution and its own plans and programmes, TYC has emerged as the largest and most active non-governmental Organisation of Tibetans in exile. It has more than 30,000 members worldwide.
