Approval of TCCC Auditor For Fiscal Year (Aug 1, 2024- July 31, 2025)

Dear Community Members,

At the Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre’s Annual General Meeting held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, the community members approved, by majority vote, to change our organizational audit firm from Oasis LLP to a new audit firm for the fiscal year from August 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025.

Accordingly, our Board contacted multiple audit firms and received three quotations. After careful review, the Board recommends appointing Hennick Herman LLP as TCCC’s auditor for the 2024–2025 financial year based on the following reasons:

a) Over 20 years of prior experience auditing not-for-profit and charitable organizations
b) Familiarity with TCCC’s financials, as Hennick Herman has previously worked as an auditor for TCCC
c) Competitive pricing, which is approximately $1,000 cheaper than our former auditor, Oasis LLP

Given the urgency to complete the 2025 fiscal year audit for TCCC, we kindly request that our community members cast their vote (link below) and indicate whether they approve of Hennick Herman LLP as our auditor by December 30, 2025.
