Tashi Delek! On Tuesday, April 1, 2014, TCCC Education and Cultural Committee decided to revise the schedule of TCCC Sunday Program for the children to resolve the issue of shortage of Tibetan Performing Arts Teachers.
On February 23, 2014, at the Semester end Parent Teacher meeting, we informed parents of the shortage of Tibetan Performing Arts teachers, which affects the Performing Arts program, especially Gyen Topgyal la in educating our children.
The committee comprising of the President, Education & Cultural Coordinators, and Parent Representatives, recently met with some of the former TCCC Performing Arts Teachers to request them to join the teaching team. We are happy to inform you that Gyen Lobsang Choephel la consented to join us, beginning this coming Sunday April 6, 2014. Gyen Tsering Dorjee la and Gyen Gonpo la consented to help out whenever their help is needed during the Community gathering and celebration.
We understand that the changes in the schedule will affect students, parents, teachers and the administrators; however, we were obliged to take these necessary steps because of the need to sustain and improve the Tibetan Performing Arts Program.
Please find below the revised schedule of TCCC Sunday Tibetan Language and Performing Arts Program, effective Sunday April 6, 2014. We ask teachers, parents and children for their support and cooperation in our efforts to sustain and improve the TCCC Tibetan Language and Performing Arts Program.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for your continuous support and we look forward to seeing you all this Sunday.
